Felita is deeply passionate about leveraging her professional expertise and personal experiences to actively contribute to the creation of equitable and inclusive communities.

In 2020, she embarked on an impactful journey as a founding board member of RAISEfashion, a non-profit network comprising esteemed leaders in the fashion industry. Through RAISEfashion, Felita and her fellow board members provide pro-bono consultation and guidance to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) businesses and individuals. This commitment stems from her philanthropic mission to empower marginalized communities and organizations, particularly those that champion women in leadership positions.

Recognizing the power of entrepreneurship in addressing societal inequalities, Felita has also taken on a pivotal role as a lead mentor for Black Ambition, a non-profit organization founded by Pharrell Williams. Black Ambition is dedicated to bridging the opportunity and wealth gap by providing aspiring entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities with the necessary resources, support, and mentorship to thrive.

In addition to her work with RAISEfashion and Black Ambition, Felita serves as a thought leader for Open to All®, a prominent non-profit organization. Open to All® is steadfast in its commitment to the principle that every individual, regardless of their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, immigration status, religion, or disability, should be warmly welcomed and included. In her role as a thought leader, Felita contributes to meaningful discussions, initiatives, and campaigns that promote inclusivity, diversity, and belonging across all sectors.
